Aldeia do Meco
The beach of Aldeia do Meco is situated 10 kilometres from the Vila de Sol and is one of the most beautiful beaches of Portugal. It's about 25 kilometres long and it goes from Cabo Espichel near to Sesimbra to Tejo to Lisbon.

Here you can experience nature-protected hinterland with pinewoods, some steep coasts and dunes like in Germany's coastal regions.
Next to a guarded beach area you can lie undisturbed on the nudist beach and go for a swim.

The water gives you great pleasure because of the constant breaking of the waves. It's very pleasant here in the sun thanks to the cool light wind coming from the Atlantic.

A speciality is the clay to be found on the steep coasts: apply it to your skin and it helps to improve the circulation of your blood, for this reason it's good for skin problems and against rheumatism.
